Indian supermodel Nayanika Chatterjee is best remembered to make the dusky look famous on the fashion ramps. The 5'11” tall model is the first choice of top notch fashion designers to display their creations on the ramp. The Libran supermodel got married to actor-model Gurpreet Singh in Jan 2001 and currently resides in New Delhi. The first thing that one would notice about Nayanika is her skin color. Known as the Naomi Campbell of India Modeling World for her looks, Nayanika Chatterjee has worked with the top designers of the like Hemant Trivedi, Rohit Bal, Rohit Khosla, Shahab Durazi & Tarun Tahiliani. Like many of the other models in the Indian modeling world, Nayanika didn't ever try to get into films or even commercials, worked as a ramp model and now works as a choreographer.

Mugdha Godse: Model turned Bollywood actress

Mugdha Godse is the latest discovery of Bollywood director Madhur Bhandarkar who catapulted Mugdha through his movie Fashion after seeing her walking on the ramp in fashion shows. Born on 26-July-1985 in Pune, Mugdha was a Femina Miss India 2004 semi-finalist and also was the first runner-up at the Gladrags Mega Model Contest & won the Miss Body Beautiful contest in the same event. In the year 2004, Mugdha also won the Miss Perfect 10 at the Pond's Femina Miss India.

Apart from modeling on the ramp, Mugdha Godse has appeared on the music videos as well, notable being Kota Tera Koka by Jassi, Mauja Len De by Daler Mehndi, Chup Chup Khade Ho by Jagdish Mali & Jab Chhaye Mera Jadoo with Irrfan Pathan. After sharing Bollywood & TV screen with Shah Rukh Khan & Priyanka Chopra, Mugdha Godse will soon be seen in Jail opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh. Carol Gracias is an Indian supermodel best known for winning the coveted India's L'Oreal "Look Of The Year" in the year 1999 and for participating in the Big Boss Season 1 & in Fear Factor Level 2 on the Indian television.
